Welcome to Soap Recipes 101!
If you have never made soap before, consider making M&P soaps first. Lye can be quite dangerous and is not something to start using without having adequate understanding of the soap-making process and what is happening or can inadvertently happen.
I encourage you to not rush in with a printed set of instructions you have only read once or twice. You really need to slow down and take your time.
Make sure you run all new-to-you recipes through a lye calculator, even if you obtain the recipe from an experienced soap-maker. We all make mistakes and typos.
