Totally is not a word I used. I take a simple all natural base and begin there with more great ingredients added after that than you will find in any soap.

I don’t get it. How can it be both totally hand made in your kitchen AND made from a base you purchase in 50# boxes?

the curing time that i give my soap is because of the ingredients that I add. it isn’t to finish out a chemical reaction. Adding the amount of great moisturizing ingredients and goatsmilk makes a better soap if it is allowed to cure again. it is like making it from the beginning all over again.

hmmm…. this part is confusing to me? why does the soap need to cure if it’s melt and pour? i thought only cold process soap needed to cure to finish out the chemical reaction. it doesn’t seem like there would be a chemical reaction in this process… just melting. does that kind of make sense, or am i misunderstanding it?

The pot does sit in the water in another pan but even if it were in a double boiler it still helps to evenly distribute the heat.

Ok wait she put the pot in a “water bath” but really that pot is setting on top of the other pot so the bottom is touching metal to metal and not in a water bath. Am i right or is it just me? I dont understand the point of the water bath,
